Increasingly, the use of blogs are becoming more and more widespread. The ability to post something for others to see and comment on has transformed into a phenomenon in which student's today are making use of this technological innovation.

In my life as a teacher, I would use a blog in a supplemental way to enhance my teaching and interaction with my students. On my blog, I would provide some information about myself. For instance, I would let my students know where I grew up, where I went to school, etc. This would give my students the opportunity to get to know me a little better. Additionally, I would encourage them to do the same.

I would also post things such as announcements, homeworks assignments, or just simply my thoughts of the day. I could also post things that I think that my students might find to be interesting. It would be up to the students if they wanted to access my blog. However, I would encourage students to participate by commenting on my posts or by asking questions.

My blog could also be used in the summer. Students could let me and others know what they have been up to on their holidays. Also, my blog could used as a way of communicating with my students from the past. Getting updates from them would be interesting and rewarding.

Blogs give the impression of being powerful tools. As a result, it is important to recognize this and use them in a responsible way.
